Pyorrhoea

Pyorrhoea is characterized by copious discharge of pus from the roots of the teeth and gums. The pus is often swallowed along with food and is absorbed into the gastrointestinal tract causing further diseases.

  • People suffering from pyorrhoea need to make sure that their digestion runs properly. For that they should maintain regularity in food timings, choose suitable food as per their constitution and perform physical exercises.

  • Foods that are heavy to digest and produce toxins in body (e.g. non-veg, pizza etc.) should be minimized by the persons who suffer from pyorrhoea.
  • Oral hygiene should be maintained. Suitable tooth brush should be used to avoid injuries of gums.
  • Eating fresh fruits like guava, banana and orange help in maintaining better oral hygiene.
